Mr Brown issued a personal letter to Claire Wright, Higher Level Teaching Assistant, who co-ordinates the school council, commending “their commitment to promoting healthy eating and the importance of encouraging children to lead healthy lifestyles.”

He also praised the school's involvement with Waveney Enterprises, a centre for adults with learning disabilities.

Mrs Wright said: "The school is absolutely thrilled to receive the letter from the Prime Minister; it's the things like this that make all the hard work worth it."
