Following the successful opening of Cliff Park Junior School's Snack Shack by Tony Wright MP, the Prime Minister Gordon Brown has written to the school to congratulate its efforts.
Following the successful opening of Cliff Park Junior School's Snack Shack by Tony Wright MP, the Prime Minister Gordon Brown has written to the school to congratulate its efforts.
Mr Brown issued a personal letter to Claire Wright, Higher Level Teaching Assistant, who co-ordinates the school council, commending “their commitment to promoting healthy eating and the importance of encouraging children to lead healthy lifestyles.”
He also praised the school's involvement with Waveney Enterprises, a centre for adults with learning disabilities.
Mrs Wright said: "The school is absolutely thrilled to receive the letter from the Prime Minister; it's the things like this that make all the hard work worth it."
