Police appeal over A12 collision

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision on the A12 Rackhams Corner roundabout, at Corton, around 8.50am on Monday. A blue Mitsubishi Colt being driven by a 66-year-old man entered the roundabout from the A12 coming from the Lowestoft direction and was in collision with a grey Mercedes being driven by a 38-year-old woman, who was attempting to turn off onto the B1375 Parkhill Road.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision on the A12 Rackhams Corner roundabout, at Corton, around 8.50am on Monday. A blue Mitsubishi Colt being driven by a 66-year-old man entered the roundabout from the A12 coming from the Lowestoft direction and was in collision with a grey Mercedes being driven by a 38-year-old woman, who was attempting to turn off onto the B1375 Parkhill Road. The woman was taken to the James Paget hospital for treatment for whiplash-type injuries, but was released a short time later.
