OPERATION Viking meant that 14 fixed penalty notices were issued for various crimes including using a mobile phone whilst driving and not wearing seat belt when driving.
The result of a two day operation run on Tuesday and last Tuesday on the Cobholm and Southtown area by the police, it focused on driving offences
One vehicle was seized and the driver fined for using a vehicle without insurance, and further days involving the Road Policing Unit and Safer neighbourhood Teams throughout Great Yarmouth are planned.
