Great Yarmouth police issue abandoned car warning as snow hits borough

Great Yarmouth police are urging people who have to abandon their cars due to the weather to leave their vehicle in a safe place to avoid being a hazard to others.

The borough’s police force is also urging people to stay at home unless their journey is absolutely necessary.

Great Yarmouth police Tweeted: “Have to leave your vehicle? Please ensure it’s left in a safe position and doesn’t cause any obstructions.

“Stay home unless your journey is absolutely necessary so the roads are clearer for officers to reach those who need our assistance.”
