Police have arrested two people after a car crashed into two parked cars on Southtown Road in Great Yarmouth.

Officers were called to the road just after midnight today and found the occupants of a VW Passat that had hit the two cars had fled the scene.

The police arrested two men on the suspicion of failing to stop and one of them was also arrested on the suspicion of drink-driving.

Police are looking for another suspect and are asking if people in the Southtown Road, Gordon Road and Suffolk Road have any CCTV images from the time of the crash.

The officers attending the incident also thanked the members of the public who guided them to where the suspects were running to.

The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was also called out and made one of the vehicles involved safe.
