Police phone system fault

NORFOLK Constabulary headquarters is currently experiencing problems with its telephone system.

There are contingency plans in place to ensure that 999 emergency calls are responded to.

NORFOLK Constabulary headquarters is currently experiencing problems with its telephone system.

There are contingency plans in place to ensure that 999 emergency calls are responded to.

However, police are urging members of the public to only contact them by phone if it is urgent.

Engineers are currently on site and are working to rectify this issue which mainly affects internal phones.
