POLICE in Bradwell have seized alcohol from young people and issued behaviour contracts as part of a clampdown on anti-social behaviour.

The results were revealed during a priority setting meeting for Bradwell Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) held on Tuesday, June 8.

Officers updated members of the Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel (SNAP) over actions taken against existing priorities of:

Anti-social behaviour in the area of Mill Lane, Kingfisher Close and the Rainbow store in Burgh Road

Criminal damage around Green Lane and St Nicholas Gardens and Bradwell

The panel heard the team held two street meetings in Mill Lane to identify specific problems and held talks in schools advising pupils about the consequences of anti-social behaviour.

A district-wide operation was put in place to target anti-social behaviour and criminal damage around the Easter period with increased patrols taking place in Bradwell.
