Police to meet Portuguese community

MEMBERS of Great Yarmouth's Portuguese community will get the opportunity to meet their local police inspector next week.

Insp Nick Cheshire, of the South Yarmouth Safer Neighbourhood Team, will hold two meetings giving people the chance to discuss quality of life issues.

MEMBERS of Great Yarmouth's Portuguese community will get the opportunity to meet their local police inspector next week.

Insp Nick Cheshire, of the South Yarmouth Safer Neighbourhood Team, will hold two meetings giving people the chance to discuss quality of life issues.

More than 5,000 Portuguese people live in the Yarmouth area and the meetings aim to improve engagement between police and the community.

The meetings will be held at the following locations:

Monday, October 12, Diversity Community Centre, 6/7 Broad Row, Great Yarmouth, 7pm-9pm.

Tuesday, October 13, Tropical Café, 128 King Street, Great Yarmouth, 7pm-9pm.
