Police are hoping to reunite an engagement ring with its rightful owner,

After an engagement ring was found at a rubbish tip, police in Great Yarmouth are hoping to reunite the sentimental item with its rightful owner.

They have issued an online appeal via the Great Yarmouth Police‏ Twitter page.

An officer tweeted that an engagement ring was found at the Caister Recycling Centre in Pump Lane on May 8.

They have urged anyone who might be missing a ring to contact the Great Yarmouth Public Enquiry Office in Howard Street North on 101.
