A SUSPECTED bogus caller incident in Great Yarmouth has prompted police to urging householders to be vigilant.
The incident took place on Thursday shortly after 3.
A SUSPECTED bogus caller incident in Great Yarmouth has prompted police to urge householders to be vigilant.
The incident took place on Thursday shortly after 3.20pm at Beresford Road, when a man and woman called at an address claiming to be from a local church.
The couple told the householder that they wanted to say prayers for him however when the householder became suspicious and questioned the couple they became nervous.
The male is described a white, between 5ft 6 and 5ft 8 tall, about 50-years-old and was wearing a casual shirt and golfers style jacket.
The female is described as white, 5ft 7, auburn shoulder length hair and was smartly dressed.
Police are urging residents to remain vigilant to cold callers and to be wary of anyone who calls unannounced and cannot provide credible identify documents.
