BURGLARS have been targeting homes in Martham, stealing cameras and laptops.

Police are warning homeowners in the village to be on their guard following the latest break-in in Rowan Road between 1.

BURGLARS have been targeting homes in Martham, stealing cameras and laptops.

Police are warning homeowners in the village to be on their guard following the latest break-in in Rowan Road between 1.45am and 9am on Wednesday during which nearly £1,500 worth of items was taken including JVC cine and Minolta cameras, an Infocus projector and two laptops, one a Hewlett Packard.

A burglar tried to break into another property in the same road between 11.30pm on Tuesday and 3.30am on Wednesday, but nothing was taken.
