A MEMBER of the ministerial team at St Andrews Church, in Gorleston, will travel to Nepal to deliver presents to youngsters living in a children's home.

Wendy Bircham will visit the Morning Star Children's Home - a home she helps runs from the UK after her parents Harold and Barbara Blake, who founded the home while missionaries in Nepal, were no longer able to.

The administration aspect of home needed an overhaul and Ms Bircham took on the huge challenge to clothe, feed, and pay medical bills for 59 children.

Costs to run the home are about 2,000 each month and the home is supported through donations, including knitted hats, scarves and mittens, and sponsorship.

Ms Bircham is available to visit churches and groups to talk about the charity and to show a power point presentation and is keen to hear about further fundraising ideas.
