New policing priorities at Bradwell will be tackling anti-social behaviour among youths gathering at Rainbow in Mill Lane, Kingfisher Close, and Tesco in Beccles Road.

They were set at the Safer Neighbourhood Team's latest meeting at John Anderson Court on Tuesday.

Extra patrols and street surgeries using the SNT community van will target areas where up to 40 youths congregate and drink alcohol.

Officers plan to approach the families of youngsters involved.

They say two of the youths are already on antisocial behaviour contracts but are not said to be the main opinion formers in the group, responsible for criminal damage at sheltered accommodation and graffiti.

The next meeting will be held at John Anderson Court on May19 at 6pm.
