ALDERMAN Swindell School youngsters last week learned about the responsibilities of owning and keeping a pet - following the School Council requesting a pet! Learning support assistant and volunteer parent helper Amy Saxton took her guinea pigs Spice and Snowy into Friday's assembly to talk to the children and explain how she cared for them.
ALDERMAN Swindell School youngsters last week learned about the responsibilities of owning and keeping a pet - following the School Council requesting a pet! Learning support assistant and volunteer parent helper Amy Saxton took her guinea pigs Spice and Snowy into Friday's assembly to talk to the children and explain how she cared for them. Headteacher Alison Hopley said it was now up to the School Council to convince her they are ready to take on the responsibility of having a pet.
