And it's great timing as the school gears up for its first Festival of Literature and Literacy next week.

The school has spent months planning the event culminating in a market place on the Friday for the public and all feeder schools, being opened at 1pm by North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb.

The event was organised following the school running its own Dragon's Den and will showcase the best of the students' talent and stalls from various organisations.

Head teacher Melinda Derry said: “The festival gives the school a great opportunity to, not only show what the students can and have achieved, but to encourage them to enjoy literature and literacy. They have worked hard to organise this event with staff and we hope it can become an annual festival on the local calendar.”
