LITTER bugs on Caister beach are being targeted by the villages Safer Neighbourhood Team. At the teams recent KIN meeting (Key Individual Network) members of the public said littering was becoming an increasing problem, particularly around Braddock Road, Beach Road car park and the dune area around Manor Road.

At the teams recent KIN meeting (Key Individual Network) members of the public said littering was becoming an increasing problem, particularly around Braddock Road, Beach Road car park and the dune area around Manor Road.

Officer will be working closely with local businesses, holiday camps, the borough council and residents to try and combat the problem, chosen as one of the teams' three priorities over the next couple of months.

The SNT was keen to remind people that dropping litter and fly-tipping is an offence and can be dealt with by way of a fixed penalty notice, fine or even prison sentence.
