EARLY bookings for next Tuesday's night of the year at Great Yarmouth racecourse may be 25 per cent up on last year, but there is still chance to join in the fun of what is now the traditional Ladies' Night at the seaside course.

Gates open at 4.30pm with a first race time of 6.20pm for one of the course's showpiece occasions.

And with Debenhams, recently new to Great Yarmouth, providing sponsorship with 1,000 in Debenhams' prizes available to those judged the best dressed ladies, it's a great chance for the ladies to pretend they are at Royal Ascot!

Admission to the premier enclosure is 22 (15 admission for the grandstand and paddock areas), while under 16s enter free. There are discounts available if you book online via www.greatyarmouth-racecourse.co.uk

Debenhams is also providing a 'pamper marquee' for the event which continues after racing with the appearance of “Fake That” a tribute band to Take That.

“Ladies Night has quickly become one of our most important and successful nights of the calendar. It's a great chance of the ladies to put on their finest and enjoy the sport at the same time. It's excellent this year that we have received the support of Debenhams,” said Glenn Tubby, the racecourse's general manager.

Recent Ladies Nights have realised attendances around the 5,000 mark.
