AS home to Wipeout, the extreme rollercoaster, Pleasurewood Hills attracts many visitors with nerves of steel and a sense of adventure. So as well as being a thrilling day out, it's proving the perfect recruiting ground for the Royal Air Force.
Cpls Gaz Hastie and Andy Hurcombe have been at the park on selected days over the summer, promoting career opportunities with the RAF, including the reserves and air crew. Andy said: “People have time to stop for a chat and are generally very interested in the sorts of opportunities the RAF has to offer.”
