Courtesy of our Memory expert Peggotty comes this picture and caption.
Peggotty reveals: “Favourite all-round star entertainer Bruce Forsyth, who died recently, spent only one summer season in Great Yarmouth - headlining at the Wellington Pier Pavilion in 1961. He is pictured with other entertainers during a day’s golf. That summer other stars in Yarmouth were Bob Monkhouse (Britannia Pier), Frankie Howerd and Tommy Steele (Windmill), Arthur Haynes (Regal/ABC), and Joe Baker and Jack Douglas (Royal Aquarium).
