As a person who has lived in Yarmouth all my life I think it’s a shame the town has been let to run down over the years.
The Waterways in the Sixties was good for holidaymakers. Yes, it’s going to go back as it was in the Sixties and that itself will be good for the holidaymakers.
The Marina! I think most people in the town would love to see the the open air Marina back. It was great in the Sixties and always had the big stars, like Morecambe and Wise, plus the bathing beauty contests! The holidaymakers and the townspeople enjoyed all the stars and the beauty contests!
Bring back the old Marina then Great Yarmouth will be Great again. Also, the seafront needs to be back as it was back in the Sixties and talking to other people in the town they say the same.
The town will come alive again.
