Three garages in a Broads village have been targeted by thieves.

The garages were broken into in Church Road in Reedham overnight between Monday and Tuesday with tools and bicycles among the items stolen.

Norfolk police say during this time an attempt was made to break into a fourth garage but it is believed the offenders made off when they were disturbed.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area to contact the Acle Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.

Residents in the village are also being reminded by Norfolk police to ensure their garages and sheds are secure and that they do not leave anything of value on display.
