A desperate search is underway after a retired racing horse went missing from stables in Mautby.
Ronnie, a 17hh (5ft 6in tall), dark bay gelding, jumped a 5-bar field gate around 11pm on Monday after he was spooked by an irrigation spray in a neighbouring field.
He had only been at the stables for three days. His owners and friends have been searching for him since.
As the Mercury went to press, Ronnie had still not been found.
His owners are distraught and ask anyone who has seen him or has information to call them 077089 58521 or 01493 285452, or alternatively call police on 101.
There is a £500 reward for his safe return.
