MORE than �1,400 was raised by the supporters of the RNLI at a lunch and fashion show at the Pier Hotel in Gorleston at the weekend. The event, organised by the Gorleston and Great Yarmouth RNLI Ladies Lifeboat Guild, was attended by 122 people and the fashion show arranged by Mrs Margaret King of Braham's Great Yarmouth.

The event, organised by the Gorleston and Great Yarmouth RNLI Ladies Lifeboat Guild, was attended by 122 people and the fashion show arranged by Mrs Margaret King of Braham's Great Yarmouth.
The outfits were modelled by members of the Guild committee. A draw raised over �500. The Lifeboat shop is open daily until the end of October and then at weekends until Christmas.
