Work will begin on the night of Thursday, October 20 to replace the bridge movement joints on A143 Haddiscoe Viaduct.

The site will extend over the entire length of the viaduct, approximately 380m, and will take three nights to complete. There will be no works during the day.

It will start immediately after the completion of the nearby A143 Fritton to Beccles Road re-surfacing scheme.

The road over the viaduct will be closed to all through traffic for three nights from October 20 to 22, 7pm and 6am.

A fully signed diversion will be in operation each night via A143 Haddiscoe, Gillingham, A146 Beccles, Lowestoft, A12 Gorleston, B1534 Bradwell, A143 Belton.
