Five days of roadworks on Great Yarmouth seafront will enable essential repairs to take place to fibre optic cables on Marine Parade.

The works will take place from or soon after Tuesday, October 4.

The repairs will be located between the crossing point opposite Regent Road to approximately 30m south of Britannia Road.

During the works, a lane closure will be required to ensure they can be completed safely and a two way traffic control will be in place to allow this to happen.

The works have been programmed to avoid the summer holiday season and the county council says it will endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum, and apologises for any inconvenience the works may cause.
