A FREE workshop in Yarmouth on Wednesday will give the over 50s a chance to re-live the golden age of the circus heyday while learning a range of circus skills.
The workshop is being organised be SeaChange Arts and local charity Ageless Opportunities. It will be led by Dr Ken, a professional performer whose circus skills have seen him travel the world.
Participants will be able to swap childhood circus memories and learn how to juggle or spin plates. For the more ambitious, there'll be the chance to ride a unicycle or even walk the tightrope.
“It's a wonderful opportunity to take a trip down memory lane to the colourful world of childhood circuses, while at the same time having a go at something fun,” says Laurie Miller-Zutshi of SeaChange Arts. “Dr Ken is a marvellous performer and teacher and will ensure everyone has a safe and probably very silly time!”
The two hour workshop is at the Priory Centre in Yarmouth from 10am. No booking required. Further information from Laurie on 01493 846187.
