Lingwood Primary Academy have organised a mini scarecrow festival where each year group from nursery to year 6 have designed and created a scarecrow based on an artist or musician.

These have then been placed around the village and trail maps have been given to the children to walk around the village and see the scarecrows.

Lucinder Pennick, from the school, said: “We are getting lots of brilliant feedback from children and parents who are uploading their pictures on to our school Facebook page as they complete the trail this week.”
