The picture shows Sapphire and Casey's scientific exploration. The youngsters, working in pairs, tested household substances to find out if they were acid or alkali, so they could understand their impact on day to day life.
Head teacher Alison Hopley said: “We have worked with The Exchange for seven years. As well as the science exploration we also had the Launch Pad activity this week, where students work in groups to build a launch pad and a small rocket and fire it using compressed air. We really value the opportunity for the students to work with outside experts during Science and Engineering Week, hopefully planting seeds for the future.”
