Archant

A site that was earmarked for a 93-home development has been put up for sale.

Scott Properties was given outline planning permission to build the homes at the eight acre site on the south side of Yarmouth Road, Hemsby, in April, 2017.

The permission was given on the condition that any developer contributes £397,000 to local provision of education, library and fire and rescue service resources.

In a listing on estate agents, Aldreds, the site is described as being in agricultural use. A footpath that runs through the site is being rerouted as part of the scheme.

Scott Properties have been contacted for comment.
