THE 1st Caister on Sea Scout troop were over the moon to receive two donations at their recent annual meeting. Chairman Malcolm Hunn and Group Scout Leader Jon Rose accepted the cheques on behalf of the group.
THE 1st Caister on Sea Scout troop were over the moon to receive two donations at their recent annual meeting.
Chairman Malcolm Hunn and Group Scout Leader Jon Rose accepted the cheques on behalf of the group. One was for £500 from the Nationwide Building Society and the other for £2000 from past mayor Paul Garrod; the group was one of his chosen charities.
The money will go towards a new kitchen and amenities in the scout hut.
