The artist theme for July for the Scratby Art Club was ‘Summer on the Beach’ and their members produced some wonderful artwork evoking memories of childhood holidays and our beautiful coastline here in Norfolk.

The artist of the month for July was Anne Dix with her playful pastel painting of a Spaniel dog running through the waves on the beach. They will be taking part in the Scratby Summer Fete to be held on Saturday, August 26 at All Saints Parish Hall, Beach Road, Scratby, where they will be having an exhibition and sale of artwork produced by their members, plus tombola, raffle and painting demonstrations.

Scratby Summer Fete will offer family fun, stalls, games, BBQ, refreshments, live music, wifi, and so much more – all with free entry and ample parking.

Come along and meet the members at the fete. They are a relaxed, friendly group who enjoy painting in each other’s company and their members include artists of all abilities. They have a varied yearly programme which includes monthly topics chosen by their members, Artist of the Month, in-house demonstrations, talks and demonstrations by guest artists.
