Search after cruiser sinks

HEMSBY Broads Rescue and Winterton Coastguard carried out a search of a part of the River Yare for missing persons after a Broads Cruiser sank due to an onboard fire.

HEMSBY Broads Rescue and Winterton Coastguard carried out a search of a part of the River Yare for missing persons after a Broads Cruiser sank due to an onboard fire.

The search went ahead after Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service reported the boat on fire at 3.52am on Thursday on the section in Thorpe, with coastguards searching the river for debris. The Broads Authority are now carrying out further investigations.
