Search and rescue recruits wanted

The Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue Team is appealing for people to come forward to volunteer as searchers and dog handlers.

Volunteers are called out by police to help search for missing vulnerable people and children and are helped by the group's Portuguese rescue dog - Frankie.

Volunteers are called out by police to help search for missing vulnerable people and children and are helped by the group's Portuguese rescue dog - Frankie.

The team, which meets twice a month for training, is also appealing for dog owners to come forward to see if their pet can be trained to join the group. Anyone interested in joining Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue Team can visit www.norlsar.org.uk
