Coastguard carried out a coastline search this morning in Yarmouth for the missing teenager who was swept out to sea at the resort yesterday afternoon.

There was no sign of the 18-year-old who was swept away by the tide on a dinghy with his 10-year-old brother at about 5.45pm.

After the beach search along Yarmouth's entire seafront the coastguard are now reviewing what to do next to try and locate the missing teenager.

Last night five lifeboats, an RAF helicopter and two coastguard search teams scoured the sea and coastline for the 18-year-old.

The teenager's younger brother managed to make his way back to the shore and he was taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston.

The brothers are believed to be from the Norwich area.
