Severe weather closes schools

NINETY schools across Norfolk have been closed due to the severe weather.

In the Great Yarmouth area Ormesby Village Junior School has been closed after staff travelling from badly affected areas were unable to get into work.

In the Great Yarmouth area Ormesby Village Junior School has been closed after staff travelling from badly affected areas were unable to get into work.

Northgate St Andrews First School on Northgate Street, Yarmouth, is closing at 1.15pm today as heavy snow showers are forecast for lunchtime.

And Ludham Primary School will close at 1pm to ensure pupils, parents and staff get home safely.
