TWO ships The Grand Turk and Excelsior were involved in a collision at the Great Yarmouth Martime Festival on Saturday afternoon.The Grand Turk is a replica 18th century frigate and the Excelsior, dating from 1921, one of the 60 most important historic ships in Britain.
TWO ships The Grand Turk and Excelsior were involved in a collision at the Great Yarmouth Martime Festival on Saturday afternoon.
The Grand Turk is a replica 18th century frigate and the Excelsior, dating from 1921, one of the 60 most important historic ships in Britain.
Both ships were slightly damaged and one of the Excelsior's masts was torn while sailing on the River Yare close to South Quay.
The vessels continued to take part in the festival following the accident which is under investigation.
