A woman “equipped” with wire-cutters stole £161 of alcohol at a Great Yarmouth supermarket.
Police said that security staff at Asda on Acle New Road detained the shoplifter on Thursday (March 28).
The wire-cutters were for removing security-tags, police said.
She had stolen £161 of alcohol.
“A woman was arrested at the scene for theft and going to the shop equipped”, police said.
