A WOMAN was assaulted and had her hand bag stolen in the car park of Tesco supermarket in Great Yarmouth on Friday.The victim was walking back to her car at the Jones Way store around 10am when someone approached from behind and grabbed her handbag pulling her backwards.
A WOMAN was assaulted and had her hand bag stolen in the car park of Tesco supermarket in Great Yarmouth on Friday.
The victim was walking back to her car at the Jones Way store around 10am when someone approached from behind and grabbed her handbag pulling her backwards.
The suspect ran off in the direction of the petrol station. The bag was later recovered.
Officers would like to hear from witnesses in particular a man and woman who came to the assistance of the victim.
