An extraordinary meeting has been called in Martham, near Yarmouth, to discuss plans to build 13 homes near a playing field.
The meeting on April 8 of Martham Parish Council has been set up so members can voice their views in time on the scheme to build the homes by Playing Field Lane.
When the plans were submitted by Landfast Ltd, some residents said the new development would create traffic problems as the road would not be able to handle extra vehicles.
The chairman of the parish council, Mike Huke, said the extraordinary meeting had been called so that councillors could register their views in time for a consultation process.
A final decision on the plans is expected to be made by Yarmouth Borough Council later in the year.
The extraordinary meeting is at 7.30pm on Wednesday, April 8 in the Methodist Church in Repps Road.
