THE children in Class LS at Wroughton Infant School constructed a giant spider for their web, as part of their Arts Week activities. The design for the spider was inspired by the artist Louise Bourgeois who sculpted a huge spider from bronze called “Maman”.
THE children in Class LS at Wroughton Infant School constructed a giant spider for their web, as part of their Arts Week activities. The design for the spider was inspired by the artist Louise Bourgeois who sculpted a huge spider from bronze called “Maman”. The spider hangs high above the children's heads in the outside courtyard and is made from plastic carrier bags and old black tights. They will be watching closely to see if it moves along the web!
