ST David's Day was celebrated in Ormesby when the child minders group put on a Welsh Day. The children helped to make Welsh Ladies hats to go with the shawls and aprons which had been made earlier. There was also time to prepare some leek and potato soup and Welsh rarebit for lunch. The afternoon was spent playing musical instruments to Welsh Celtic music, looking at writing in bi-lingual books and making daffodils. All of which was great fun.
