ST Nicholas Priory Junior School held its annual Harvest Service at St Nicholas' Church on Wednesday. Pupils sang songs and read stories to the congregation which included parents, carers, staff and governors. Instead of donating food items for a Harvest collection this year, pupils and staff were asked to make a small contribution towards St Judes, Priory's twin school in Zimbabwe to purchase text books which need replacing after having been eaten by termites. The school hopes to raise at least £200.

Priory School thanked Mrs Latimer and Miss Kitchener for organising the Harvest Service, the pupils who took part, parents, carers and governors who attended and the Rev Richard Knowles who gave a blessing.
