The school choir, led by Mr John Stephens, took part and Rev Richard Knowles gave a blessing.
School cook Mrs Breen kindly made hot cross buns and palm crosses were given to all the children.
The service was arranged by Ms Hetherton with the support of Mrs Breen and her team, parents, friends and governors.
