Pupils were accompanied by their parents and were presented with certificates, trophies and shields to celebrate their achievements during the last school year. MP Tony Wright, a former pupil, presented the awards along with James Wright, chairman of governors. Pupils played songs on the keyboard and piano during the evening and Mr Simon Yaxley and Mr Darren Midmore performed a song by Coldplay on their guitars. Staff and governors and other special guests were among the audience of more than 200 people.
