STUDENTS from the Stage Door Theatre were celebrating their successful results from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art acting and musical theatre summer exams.
Tutor Sheila Pascall said: “I'm thrilled with the results this year, especially for the three Gold medal, Grade 8, students attaining distinction, which is a great achievement. The students were under added pressure this year as two examiners were present in the room. All the students have done extremely well and I'm proud of them.”
Results were:
Acting: Daisy Tucker, gold medal 8, distinction; Emily Hughes, gold medal 8, distinction; Sophie Butcher, gold medal 8, distinction; Jonnie Bayfield, silver medal 7, merit; Alex Fox, bronze medal 6, distinction; Rianna Ash, bronze medal 6, distinction; Kirstie Read, bronze medal 6, merit; Chloe Symeou, bronze medal 6, merit; Jasmin Stringer, grade 4, merit; Katie Green, grade 1, distinction.
Musical Theatre: Kristie Read, grade 3, merit; Faye Ainley, grade 1, distinction; Caitlin Phillips, entry, distinction.
