RESIDENTS living in and around Stalham will have the chance to meet and chat with local police and to raise any concerns the may have at a meeting on December 6 at Hoveton Village Hall.

The Stalham Safer Neighbourhood Team, which covers Eccles, Hoveton, Neatishead, Ashmanhaugh and Sutton, will host a public meeting between midday and 5pm in the Jubilee Room.

At the teams recent priority setting meeting members of the public felt problems with underage drinking at The Green in Stalham, Riverside Park in Hoveton and anti-social behaviour in Happisburgh had been appropriately dealt with.

Police will now deal with three new priorities set - anti-social behaviour in Chapel Road, East Ruston where residents have been repeat victims of criminal damage; damage to the Happisburgh Sports Pavilion and boats being set adrift at Catfield Staithe.

The priorities will be reviewed at the teams next meeting on December 29.
