STAYING in the Hilton Metropole hotel in Birmingham, five-year-old Ormesby girl Evie Fabian had already her first experience of star treatment before she even stepped in front of the camera at a Next photo shoot.

The Ormesby Infants School pupil and her family, including mum Jodie, 34 and aunt Candice Lace, were put up in the top hotel for three nights while the youngster took part in the shoot for posters which will appear in fashion chain Next's stores across the UK.

And the tot loved having her make-up done for the cameras which snapped the 12 children who had reached the final of the Next Generation Children's Competition.

Their reward was to have their pictures taken for Next shop windows and receive a modelling contract with children's modelling agency Urban Angels, as well as 100 worth of Next vouchers.

Jodie said the photo shoot went on for “quite a while” and was followed the next day by a fashion show in which the children modelled the retailer's stores to 800 Next staff from across Europe.

She added: “It was hard because she is only five, so her attention can wander, but she really enjoyed it, especially having make-up put on and she liked the hotel too - particularly the revolving door!”

Her success in reaching the final means Evie's photo could be shown in Next stores in Norfolk, while she may also be given further modelling assignments through the Urban Angels agency.

Originally, 28,000 entrants took part in the competition and Evie reached the final 10 after securing enough votes in a poll on social networking site Facebook.
