A GREEN Ford Escort stolen from Peggotty Road, in Great Yarmouth, was later used in a burglary at a business premises in the town. The car was stolen last Monday and used in the burglary on Barkis Road, Yarmouth, in the early hours the following day .

Thieves used a large garden ornament to smash a window and got away with cigarettes. The burglary happened between 2.30am and 2.50am and the mud covered car was recovered of Ordnance Road later that morning with its windows had been smashed.
