CHILDREN and parents from Gorleston and Hopton Children's Centre enjoyed a storytime with a difference - in the sunshine at Gorleston beach!

Organised by family support worker Marie Addy, the event included a story time courtesy of Norfolk Library Service and was followed by a family picnic.

Organised by family support worker Marie Addy, the event included a story time courtesy of Norfolk Library Service and was followed by a family picnic.

Health trainers from connections were also on hand offering families the opportunity to make fresh fruit juices.

Marie said: “Children centres aim to provide a range of activities and support services which are accessible to local families with children under five so that children may flourish and reach the best possible outcomes.”

The event was organised to celebrate National Families Week.
